Position Overview
As a Graduate Midwife, you will support compassionate and responsive care to patients while transitioning from student to registered midwife in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities
Provide patient-centred care in a team‐based setting.
Participate in a structured program that includes orientation, professional development days, and debriefing sessions.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Registered Nurse and Midwife with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
* Excellent clinical, time‐management, organisational and communication skills
* Compassionate, flexible and positive approach to patient care
* Ability to nurture respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment
* Current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check
* Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status in line with public health orders
* Applicants must apply via the Postgraduate Medical Council of Victoria (PMCV) and rank Mercy Health in their preferences
