Job Description
Reporting to the CFO, you will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely management reporting while partnering closely with operational teams to support commercial performance. This is a hands‐on, fast‐paced role suited to someone who enjoys continuous improvement and cross‐functional collaboration.
Key responsibilities include:
* Prepare monthly management accounts, including variance analysis, performance metrics, journals, reconciliations, and month‐end adjustments
* Monitor and analyse manufacturing costs across materials, labour, and overheads
* Review sales revenue and margins across multiple business units
* Support budgeting and forecasting cycles, including 3‐way financial models and bonus calculations
* Drive reporting efficiencies through automation, system improvements, and process optimisation in collaboration with IT and Finance
* Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and company policies
* Provide commercial and financial analysis to support operational and strategic decision‐making
* Manage asset movements, capital project reporting, and inventory controls
* Support audit processes, including financial audits and FBT preparation
The Successful Applicant
You are a commercially minded Management Accountant who enjoys working closely with both finance and operations. You bring strong analytical capability and the confidence to influence stakeholders with clear financial insights.
To be successful, you will have:
* Minimum 3 years' experience in a Management Accountant role
* Strong financial modelling, variance analysis, and inventory management experience
* Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* Experience in a manufacturing environment (highly desirable)
* CPA qual (or near)
