Job Description

Our exciting Key Account Manager opportunity is a hybrid hunter role responsible for selling Experian's leading data management solutions into a mixture of established key/ enterprise accounts, and large 'net new' customers within specific industry verticals. This role joins a team of established high performers who've consistently overachieved sales targets in previous financial years. This opportunity will see a new starter join our team at an exciting time as we bring new capabilities to the A/NZ market from the success we have seen from Experian Data Quality globally.

Role

This is an end‐to‐end sales role, from the point of cold prospecting to closing opportunities. The expectations of a successful applicant are as follows:

* An activity‐focused salesperson where 25 customer‐facing meetings a month will be completed consistently (meetings will be a combination of new business meetings and meetings to progress opportunities).
* Demonstrated ability to find and close a software sales process.
* Experience navigating opportunities involving multiple stakeholders, across business and IT functions.
* Someone who wants to join and contribute to our excellent workplace culture.

This role will focus on Experian's Data Quality solutions including Data Validation, Data Management and Data Governance Technologies.

Qualifications

* Deliver an agreed revenue target by working closely with our clients and prospects to understand their requirements and identify ways in which we can help them achieve their commercial objectives by better understanding, interacting with and targeting their customers.
* Be curious in your questioning to understand challenges, requirements and opportunities. We're looking for someone who has a strong sales methodology and a desire to grow.

Work that matters – What you'll be doing (Reporting to the Enterprise Sales Lead)

* Predominantly be focused on the acquisition of new business opportunities within existing customer accounts and prospects. Manage and close business within these customer accounts.
* Prospect for new contacts in existing customer accounts.
* Attend SPIN and STRONGMAN sales training to enhance current sales skills as well as internal sales training workshops.
* Become a subject matter expert for your clients.
* Manage own performance and take responsibility for self‐development in line with personal and company objectives.

More About You

* You will be a confident new business salesperson, confident booking and running meetings, with or without support from management or presales.
* This role would suit someone with 8+ years' experience and with some exposure to enterprise software sales.

Benefits / Perks

* Novated Leasing & Salary Packaging.
* Great compensation package and bonus/commission plan.
* Core benefits including Experian shares discount and wellness program.
* Flexible work environment, hybrid model.
* Flexible time off including volunteer time off, personal leaves and paid holidays.
* 17 weeks of paid parental leave, family care leave and up to 5 days study leave.
