About the Role
SEE Group have a great career opportunity available for
Experienced Plant Operators
to join our highly professional and skilled team on a major infrastructure project in Orange, NSW. This is a diverse and fast-paced role working on an 8 on / 6 off roster, with Local, DIDO, or FIFO from Brisbane opportunities.
Responsibilities
Carry out pre-start checklists on plant you're required to operate
Operate / drive plant properly and safely to suit the individual job conditions.
Ensure safety of other team members and the public in accordance with the legislative requirements.
Report any fault / damage / problem the plant you are assigned to the Site Supervisor.
Service equipment by cleaning, lubricating and re-fueling it and make minor adjustments and repairs when necessary, in consultation with the Workshop Personnel.
Keep plant in a clean and tidy state.
Essential Skills and Attributes
Hold an Excavator, Dozer, or Haul Truck ticket
Have an OHS Induction Card
Be reliable and trustworthy with the ability to work with little supervision and be able to work as part of a team
Strong safety initiative
Have excellent communication skills
Be reliable and dedicated to the role
Be able to pass a pre-employment medical examination, including a drug and alcohol screen
