About the Role
We are seeking a Cleaning and Trolley Collection Team Member to contribute to creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our customers. No prior experience is required; what's needed is a willingness to learn and a positive attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
* Working through a checklist of cleaning tasks throughout the store.
* Using various equipment and cleaning products to sweep, mop, vacuum, scrub, and buff floors throughout the store, team rooms, toilets, and offices.
* Cleaning, dusting, wiping, and scrubbing shelving, refrigeration rooms, industrial ovens, and drains.
* Collecting trolleys from in and around the store and carpark – regardless of the weather.
About You and Your Skills:
* You'll work both indoors and outdoors, trusted to work autonomously and in a group setting.
* A commitment to providing excellent customer experiences by working with enthusiasm, energy, and pace.
* A keen eye for detail and cleanliness.
* A passion for working safely and adhering to Coles Safe work practices.
* The ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, and demonstrate a strong work ethic.
* To be active – you'll be constantly on the go and may need to perform moderate to heavy lifting, reaching, and pushing.
* Availability to work flexible hours across our store trading days (including weekends). We offer a variety of shifts between 5am and 11pm, seven days a week.
