About Lyft Community
Lyft Community is a growing, values-led organisation providing NDIS and aged care supports across Melbourne's south-east and the Mornington Peninsula.
We are passionate about delivering support that feels personal, relational, and genuinely community-focused. As we continue to grow rapidly across disability support, aged care, and cleaning services, we are looking for someone highly organised, proactive, and calm under pressure to become the operational heartbeat of our rostering team.
The Role
This is not your standard admin role.
You will play a critical role in ensuring our participants receive reliable, high-quality support every single day. You'll be responsible for coordinating rosters, managing last-minute changes, communicating with support workers and families, and ensuring our systems remain accurate and compliant.
We are looking for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys problem-solving, and genuinely cares about creating positive outcomes for both participants and staff.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate and fill participant shifts across NDIS and aged care services
* Manage daily rostering through ShiftCare
* Respond quickly to cancellations, staffing gaps, and urgent changes
* Match support workers to participants based on compatibility, skills, and support needs
* Maintain accurate participant and staff profiles, including compliance documentation
* Liaise with support workers, families, coordinators, and management throughout the day
* Assist with timesheet processing and invoicing administration
* Help identify operational improvements and workforce gaps as the business grows
About You
You are someone who:
* Is highly organised and detail-oriented
* Can juggle multiple priorities without becoming overwhelmed
* Communicates confidently and professionally
* Thinks quickly and problem-solves independently
* Has previous rostering, scheduling, or coordination experience
* Ideally has experience within NDIS, aged care, or community services
* Has experience using ShiftCare or similar rostering software
* Full training on ShiftCare software will be provided to the successful candidate
* Understands the importance of compliance, documentation, and participant-centred care
What We Offer
* A supportive and collaborative team culture
* The opportunity to grow alongside a rapidly expanding organisation
* Meaningful work that genuinely impacts people's lives
* Ongoing support, development, and leadership opportunities
* A beautiful office environment based on the Mornington Peninsula
* Competitive salary based on experience
* Flexible discussions around hours for the right candidate
