What you will enjoy doing
- You will check & maintain delivery due list, liaising with Central Logistics Team to ensure an efficient and workable schedule
- Performing data entry in SAP is part of your role
- Making sure the gas is loaded, the Dangerous Goods (DG) paperwork is correct, and all the right tags and labels are in place
- You will be talking with drivers, schedulers, and customer service teams to keep everyone on the same page
- Processing paperwork at the end of each shift and getting everything finalised so it’s ready for invoicing
- In addition, staying on top of email and phone requests from other teams and customers throughout the day
- Keeping detailed, accurate records – attention to detail really matters here
- Furthermore, reporting any safety issues, hazards, or incidents straight away
- Helping make sure drivers are following safety and scanning procedures
What makes you great
- 1–3 years’ experience in transport, despatch or logistics
- You have strong English skills – both written and spoken (you’ll be handling plenty of emails and calls)
- Confident using computers – SAP, Microsoft Office, and scanners
- High attention to detail and strong focus on safety
- You are able to think on your feet and adapt when things change
- Logistics qualification is a bonus but not essential
