Position Overview
The Finance & Administrative Officer plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our office through effective financial management and administrative support. This position entails maintaining accurate records, managing accounts receivable, processing invoices, and supporting various operational functions.
Key responsibilities include timely processing of payroll, billing clients and funders, managing debtors, and supporting the office with general administrative tasks. You will work closely with the Financial Accountant and other team members to uphold Just Better Care's policies and procedures, contributing to a seamless operational framework.
Ideal Candidate Profile
We are looking for a highly organised and detail‑oriented individual with a strong background in finance and administration. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit.
* Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or experience in accounts receivable or bookkeeping.
* Sound understanding of relevant legislation and regulations.
* Proficient data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
* Demonstrated problem‑solving abilities and effective time management skills.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well within a team.
* Experienced with integrated financial software applications, including MYOB and Microsoft Office.
* Possess a current and clear Criminal Record Check/NDIS worker check.
