Full Time Customer Service Assistant - Retail Butcher
The Standard Market Company is located within the busy retail precinct of Gasworks Plaza, Newstead. We specialise in gourmet food across our butcher shops, deli dept, fruit shops, bakeries, juice and gelati bars. You will be joining a vibrant team and business that is undergoing major growth.
We currently have a vacancy within our Gasworks Prime Meats Department for a Full Time Customer Service Assistant.
In this role, you will be working within a close knit, hardworking team, providing outstanding service in a dynamic food-focused environment!

What are we looking for:
* You will bring enthusiasm to the role and enjoy providing excellent customer service
* This position is available for an immediate start. Our ideal candidate will have great flexibility to fill shifts during the week and weekend - Sunday availability essential
* You must be comfortable with touching raw meat
* Ideally, previous experience within hospitality or food retail
* Experience in fast paced environments
* Reliable and hard working
* Passionate about gourmet food
* Friendly personality and team player
What the position involves:
* Customer service, including traying and wrapping a variety of gourmet meat products.
* Use of EFTPOS/ Till procedures
* Set up of product display
* Assist with some food preparation – handling raw meat
