We're seeking a dynamic and driven Production Manager to guide our Powders production team at our Dandenong South site.

The Dandenong South site manufactures a variety of high-performance Dulux powder coating solutions for a wide range of industries and are committed to sustainability, technical excellence, and customer satisfaction, which our production teams take great pride in
Responsibilities
Lead and Develop Teams: Coordinate daily and weekly meetings, drive performance, and foster a culture of collaboration and growth
Champion Safety & Quality: Set the standard for safe work practices, ensure compliance, and drive quality outcomes for our customers
Drive Continuous Improvement: Lead root cause problem-solving, implement process enhancements, and contribute to site-wide initiatives
Manage Operations: Oversee site management activities, support maintenance objectives, and manage contractors and risk assessments
Grow Talent: Coach, train, and develop a team of ~25 staff, maintaining skills matrices and development plans

Qualifications
Proven leadership experience in a production role - ideally in manufacturing, but we welcome candidates from other industries
Strong communication, self-motivation, and a proactive, self-starter attitude
Attention to detail and process adherence
Data analysis and problem-solving skills in a team environment
Experience in developing and documenting operating procedures
Technologically adept with strong computer skills
Strong safety focus with the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications and experience in continuous improvement is desirable
