About the role
As a Program Officer, you will work collaboratively with the Regional Workforce Transition Officer in the team to respond to challenges and leverage opportunities within the South West WA Region (and surrounds) to support your community's workforce transition to net zero. The position is ongoing with full-time and part-time applicants being considered and requires being based in the South West WA Employment Region, as you are expected to be available for face-to-face meetings and community engagements with stakeholders.
About you
We are seeking individuals with the following:
* Strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a virtual team.
* Highly developed organisational, administrative and time management skills.
* Ability to build and maintain high quality working relationships with a diversity of stakeholders.
You will have highly developed, or the demonstrated ability to quickly acquire a working knowledge of the South West WA Region's labour market, community, and economy, and supports for a transitioning workforce. You will have lived experience in the South West WA Region, along with deep connections to the community.
You will also have the ability to maintain a physical presence in the South West WA Region as you will be expected to be available for face-to-face meetings and community engagements with stakeholders across the area. This may involve some out of hours work within the region.
