We're working with a well-known retail brand to find an experienced HR Generalist for a 12 month maternity leave contract. This is a great opportunity to support a national retail workforce within a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a high level of customer service. The Role Supporting a workforce of over 300 retail staff nationally, this HR Generalist role is part of a tight-knit HR team reporting into a senior HR leader. You'll provide day-to-day HR support across the full employee lifecycle while contributing to projects and process improvements. Key responsibilities include: Managing end-to-end HR operations across the employee lifecycle Supporting recruitment, onboarding, performance, and exits Providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and compliance Partnering with store leadership on people-related matters Maintaining HR records and supporting systems Assisting with employee engagement, wellbeing and HR initiatives About You You have at least 3 years' generalist HR experience, ideally within a retail or multi-site environment You're proactive, confident, and able to work at pace in a busy team You bring strong interpersonal and communication skills You're comfortable advising frontline leaders and handling day-to-day HR queries Experience with HRIS platforms is a plus You're aligned with a values-led, customer-focused brand What's on Offer 12-month contract with a respected Australian retail business 1 day per week working from home Staff product discounts (available after 3 months) Warm, committed team with a shared purpose Close to public transport with on-street parking options Next Steps Interviews are underway, with a view to start in June.
