The Role:
The Senior Manager of Retail is responsible for driving a growth focussed and sustainable retail channel by way of a premium consumer experience, supporting and leading the team to deliver a high level of service, presentation and selling standards at every consumer touch point.
The position requires an individual with sound understanding of financials, KPI setting and tracking, budget control, targeted recruitment, training & development of the team including loss prevention training, awareness and response by way of service and selling standards, an eye for detail in retail floor presentation and merchandising standards with the intent of delivering an immersive storytelling narrative to our consumers.
Key Responsibilities:
Retail:Develop and oversee the implementation of effective standards and processes within the retail channel.Continually look to evolve refill efficiencies in stock movements from warehouse to retail floor, maximising selling opportunities.Drive a customer first mentality amongst the retail team to assist in delivery of financial and KPI targets.Oversee the in-store NPS program (Net promoter Score).
Deliver feedback to retail management to continue to build on a premium consumer experience.Team planning and development.
Leading, recruiting and mentoring retail managers.Effective management of retail employee costs, maintained to budget with dynamic mindset to adjust spend based on business trends.Ensuring compliance with policies, procedures and standards.
Respond to alleged breaches of rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and standards by evaluating and recommending actions.Maintain a close relationship with Retail managers on the "Ultra Experience" program in retail locations ensuring a premium execution through the journey for consumers from initial booking through to delivery of on-field activities.
Support development of a talented group of experience hosts.Commit to ongoing product knowledge training of the retail teams in all locations by way of utilising existing internal training tools and through quarterly full team meetings, utilising the skills of brand partners training personnel.Maintain close working relationship with Head of Operations to ensure assets at retail locations are operating as required.Leadership and Development:
Foster a positive and collaborative work culture that promotes teamwork and continuous improvement in Retail channel, Customer service channel and cross functionally between these channels.Delegate responsibilities effectively and empower Retail and Customer service team members to achieve their goals.Commit to 2 formal performance reviews each year with Direct reports, tailoring their development to the needs of the business and individual.Qualifications:
Retail management degree or similar in a related field.Extensive management experience in a big box retail or consumer goods environment.Proven leadership and team management skills.Strong negotiation and communication skills.Skills:

1.Deliver the numbers: Drive, support and enable Ultra Football towards each year's financial goals through retail health, underpinned by sound working relationships with key stakeholders in Planning and Merchandising, Commercial Sales and Customer Service.2.People (Team Development): Support, empower and develop the technical capabilities of the retail team to understand, and execute their roles effectively.
