Position Summary
The Merchandise Coordinator – Timepieces & Jewellery plays a vital role in supporting the operational, analytical, and administrative functions of the Merchandise team. Reporting to the Merchandise Managers, this role is responsible for managing and maintaining product data, coordinating internal reporting, assisting with stock movements, and supporting product launches and campaigns across the business. The successful candidate will have excellent attention to detail, strong analytical and organisational skills, and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:
* Support product upload processes, ensuring accuracy across product descriptions, pricing, and system registration.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date product data across systems, resolving discrepancies as needed.
* Manage communications through the merchandise inbox, acting as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders. Including client orders, servicing requests and repairs along with maintaining an enquiry log.
* Prepare regular reports including sales, delivery, and inventory data to support internal business needs and brand partner requirements.
* Assist the Merchandise Manager with gathering insights for business reviews and promotional planning.
* Planning and analysis including; in-season and post season on sales performance and stock health; and in season reporting and analysis for the business.
* Facilitate internal stock transfers and boutique rebalancing to support optimal inventory levels.
* Coordinate boutique stocktakes, ensuring accuracy in data capture and timely reporting.
* Manage freight forwarder relationship including tracking deliveries, managing purchase orders, and assisting with invoice reconciliation and supplier follow-up.
* Provide general brand administration support including ordering of spare parts, completing insurance forms, customs documentation, and returns coordination.
Key Attributes
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a merchandise, planning, or retail coordination role (luxury retail advantageous).
* Strong organisational and analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
* Strong communication skills and ability to liaise across departments.
* Intermediate to advanced Excel skills or experience in merchandise
* Collaborative team player with a customer-first mindset.
* Highest standards professionalism and presentation.
