Opportunity
A derivative of the Boeing 737, the E-7A Wedgetail Airborne Early Warning and Control platform is the centre piece of Australia's national air defence capability, incorporating powerful airborne surveillance, communications and battle management capability.
The E-7 Wedgetail Australia Program requires an experienced Block Integration Manager. This role is based in Brisbane.
Scope
* Act as the 2IC to the Block Program Manager as well as integration across all of the Block teams in terms of schedule execution management, program performance and workforce planning.
* Chair / host of the Block Schedule Review and Workforce Planning Meetings.
* Contribute towards the E7 Development Block integration planning process.
* Stakeholder engagement both internal to the Block and external, including across E7 Programs and with the CoA.
* Manage the Block schedule and budget performance tracking and reporting.
* Oversee the internal Block change management process and the external integration points, including baseline impact assessments and change implementation actions.
* Oversee the health status of Block level RIO, and identify E7 Development escalation requirements.
* Manage the Block workforce planning demand, supply and actuals data, including solving for resourcing gaps.
* Contribute to project management related elements of Block mandated system reviews (MSRs).
* Contribute to project management related elements of Block Program Management Best Practice (PMBP) assessments.
Qualifications
* 10+ years as a project manager within a technically complex project.
* Experience using information and task management software tools (e.g., Confluence / SharePoint / JIRA).
* Contributed to the development and/or maintenance of a project governance framework.
