About the role
We have a outstanding opportunity for an enthusiastic Perioperative Registered Nurse with solid experience in Ophthalmology Anaesthetic nursing to join our clinical team on a casual basis. Monday to Friday flexible roster.
Duties and responsibilities
This role will see you working collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to support patient care needs and deliver exceptional clinical outcomes.
- Assist the nursing team to deliver safe, evidence-based patient care
- Ensure the theatre complex and equipment are ready for surgery
- Ensure patient safety and communication with surgical team is always a key focus
- Monitor and evaluate patient recovery, addressing any complications
- Deliver education and support to patients for the management of their recovery
- Supervise and support Enrolled Nurses on shift
About You
You have a genuine passion for nursing, providing world‑class patient care and adding value to Australian healthcare. You will have:
- Solid experience in Ophthalmology Anaesthetic nursing
- Tertiary qualifications in Nursing or similarCurrent AHPRA registration
- Thrive in a fast‑paced specialised team
