$36.60 to $37.36 (depending on experience)Monday to Friday between hours of 6:30 am and 6:00 pmABOUT THE CENTRENgala Early Learning Perth Airport is a well-established Centre located within the grounds of Perth Airport, just a short distance from Redcliffe train station, Costco, DFO, Woolworths and eateries.
The Centre offers a beautiful and welcoming environment where children thrive in spacious indoor and outdoor play areas, with an embedded arts curriculum and a range of stimulating learning opportunities.Our Perth Airport operating hours are Monday to Friday between the hours of 6.30am to 6.00pm.Visit our Ngala Early Learning Facebook or Instagram page to learn more about how we support the early development of children.ABOUT THE ROLEAs the Team Leader, develops and delivers quality education program and practice and supports all children within the allocated room, to participate in the program.
You will use and implement the Ngala Curriculum Handbook and apply your expertise in Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), child development and learning to ensure the room's program and practice meet or exceed the National Quality Standard.Working closely with the Coordinator, Assistant Coordinator and Educational Leader and Early Childhood Teacher, you will establish positive relationships with children and families to ensure your program is responsive and inclusive.You will coach and supervise the room's Educator/s (where allocated) to deepen their understanding of curriculum and pedagogy and embed a culture of ongoing reflective practice.In your role of Team Leader, you will commit to maintaining professional work standards at all timesABOUT YOUYou are passionate about children's learning and development.
You will have:ulDiploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or an ACECQA approved equivalent)Demonstrated experience supporting the development and learning of children 0-6 years oldUnderstanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standard (NQS)A current First Aid certificate, including asthma and anaphylaxisDemonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and self-learning to achieve the best outcomes for childrenFlexibility to work rotating shifts during operating hoursHigh level of verbal, written and interpersonal communication skillsSatisfactory National Police Clearance obtained within the last six monthsCurrent WA Working with Children's CheckAs part of our commitment to being a Child Safe organisation, successful candidates are required to provide their Immunisation History Statement.While immunisations are highly encouraged, they are not mandatory.
