System Engineer Position
We are seeking a highly skilled System Engineer to oversee the management, maintenance, and optimization of our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in system administration for both Windows and Linux environments.
* Ensure the availability and performance of our IT infrastructure by implementing optimal solutions.
* Configure and administer network devices and servers, ensuring seamless connectivity and minimal downtime.
* Develop and implement server virtualization techniques using VMware, Hyper-V, or similar technologies to enhance efficiency and scalability.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy cloud-based solutions on platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
* Design and maintain scripts and automation tools using languages like PowerShell, Bash, or Python to streamline processes and improve productivity.
* Monitor system performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective measures.
* Analyze and troubleshoot complex technical issues to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
* At least 4 years of experience in a System Engineer role or similar.
* Strong knowledge of networking concepts, including DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, and firewalls.
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
