You'll work alongside elite teams and contribute meaningfully in a fast-paced environment. Our embedded software engineers sit on teams across Global Advisory and Markets, Asset and Wealth Management, Platform Solutions, our Engineering division, and control teams like Compliance, Risk, Controllers, Human Capital, and more.

As a software engineer, these are some of the technologies and challenges you'll encounter:
Build and enhance high-performing applications using languages like Java and Python
Develop and deploy scalable solutions on the cloud
Work with tools like Apache Kafka, Spark, and Hadoop to process large-scale data streams and derive insights
Build secure, efficient RESTful APIs and microservices for seamless system integration
Optimize deployment pipelines with Jenkins, Gitlab, and Terraform to support continuous integration and delivery
Partner with security teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and maintain robust defenses
QUALIFICATIONS
1-6 years of relevant prior work experience
Expert proficiency in programming in a language such as
Java, Python or C++
Hands-on experience with databases (i.e. PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle) and writing efficient, optimized queries
Familiarity with distributed systems, messaging platforms, and cloud platforms
Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
Strong ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
Team player with positive attitude and strong work ethic
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to self-direct, analyze and evaluate and form independent judgments
Ability to effectively interact and build relationships with senior management and global stakeholders
Commercially savvy with ability to exercise discretion with respect to confidential/sensitive information
Integrity, ethical standards and sound judgment
