National Sales Manager – Commercial Equipment

About The Role
Are you a strategic sales leader with a passion for driving profitable growth in the commercial equipment sector? We are seeking a National Sales Manager to spearhead our Australian sales strategy, specifically focusing on our industry‐leading Laundry segments.
In this pivotal role, you will report to the Head of Sales APAC and serve as the driving force behind our regional success. You will balance high‐level strategic planning with hands‐on execution, managing key dealer relationships and leading a team to deliver innovative, sustainable solutions to the hospitality, food service, and laundry industries.
A Typical Day
* Leadership: Lead and support a national team of Dealers to achieve shared goals.
* Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement robust sales plans to hit revenue and margin targets.
* Relationship Management: Build and maintain deep trust with dealers, consultants, designers, and end‐users.
* Expert Guidance: Provide specialized advice on product selection, pricing, and availability to ensure customer needs are met.
* Cross‐Functional Collaboration: Partner with marketing, customer care, and technical support teams to provide a seamless end‐to‐end customer experience.
* Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of the curve by monitoring market trends and competitor activity to identify fresh business opportunities.
* Brand Representation: Act as the face of the business at key industry events, trade shows, and high‐level customer meetings.

Education & Experience
* Industry Expertise: At least 5 years of sales leadership experience within the commercial food, beverage, or laundry industries.
* Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in exceeding sales targets and managing complex dealer networks.
* Commercial Acumen: A strong understanding of B2B sales cycles and sharp negotiation skills.
* Technical Proficiency: Competent in using Excel and CRM tools (Salesforce experience is highly preferred).
* Mobility: A willingness to travel across Australia as required to support the national network.
