The successful applicant will be appointed to the lower classification with eligibility for progression to the next, once specific criteria have been met or demonstrated. Step Into Your Next Chapter:
Maintaining school grounds, gardens, and sporting areas (mowing, watering, pruning, weeding, and planting).
Supporting site security by locking/unlocking gates, buildings and monitoring facilities.
Using and maintaining equipment such as mowers, whipper snippers, and small machinery in line with safety guidelines.
Monitoring and reporting any hazards or maintenance issues to ensure compliance with Workplace Health and Safety standards.
Event set up, moving of furniture.
Communicate and discuss with Principal/Business Manager or nominated delegate on matters regarding periodic
maintenance of facilities.
Liaise with various internal and external personnel (e.g. tradespersons)
and damage to facilities.
Order and/or collect general grounds care/cleaning supplies and materials as authorised by the Principal,
Business Manager or nominated delegate.
Undertake ground improvement and enhancement activities; and
prepare, mark and take general care of all outdoor sporting facilities (e.g. basketball, netball and tennis courts,
cricket pitches, track and field areas).
