THE APPRENTICESHIP
Completing an apprenticeship will give you the opportunity to become a qualified Boilermaker and earn your (MEM30319) Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication (Boilermaking).
As an apprentice you will get to expand your skills in learning and working on pumps and generators. Duties includes welding, grinding, thermal cutting, fabricating, measuring, using varies metal and steels, keeping workshop clean and following OHS policies and procedures.
The workshop position is located in Hamilton, Brisbane. You will be hosted with a company called DPS (Diesel Part & Services), one of Australia's leading suppliers of horsepower and water. Working on engines, pumps, generators, and spare parts.

WHO SHOULD APPLY?
Out client is looking for someone who has a can-do attitude, reliable and willing to put in hard day's work. A safety conscience, respectful and willing to listen and learn to develop their career.
If you have any previous experience in a similar industry or have completed a certificate II in Engineering would be an advantage but not a requirement.
REQUIREMENTS:
Own vehicle and driver's licence to get to work each day
