Electrical Systems Engineer - P-8A Fleet
Safeguard Australia's maritime security by designing, upgrading and sustaining the P-8A fleet. Play a vital role in multiple advanced capability upgrades coming to the platform over the next several years.
The Opportunity
* Work with customers to develop and document electrical system requirements
* Analyse and translate requirements into system architecture, interface specifications, wiring design and installation solutions
* Test and validate designs to ensure they meet operational and functional requirements
* Provide engineering support across the product lifecycle and work towards Engineering Authority and Delegations for the platform
Requirements
* Tertiary qualification in Electrical or related Engineering degree, meeting Engineers Australia requirements (MIEAust)
* Experience in aviation engineering: design development, investigations or work on aircraft electrical subsystems
* Experience producing engineering artefacts in the Defence Aviation Safety Regulation (DASR) environment
* Australian Citizenship
