Sixpenny offers guests a place to interact with what goes on in the kitchen. We showcase the best Australian produce and local and international wine, focusing on small producers, complemented by exceptional service.
At Sixpenny, our wine list is chosen with an emphasis on styles that compliment the menu, focusing on light, fresh wines with texture and flavour concentration. The wine list highlights wines we feel provide the best food pairing possibilities. Some are well known, others less so, but all are from small producers who, like us, are concerned with quality over quantity.
We are searching for a passionate wine professional to head Sixpenny's wine program. The right person will have a minimum of two years of experience in a similar role and be able to demonstrate;
- Excellent local and international wine knowledge;
- Inventory and cost control experience;
- Excellent administrative and organisational abilities;
- Experience in staff training and;
- Exceptional all-around front-of-house knowledge.
