Job Title
A Community Development Coordinator is required to work with local communities, foster vibrant public spaces and support skills development in the Top End.
The role plays a key part in co-designing and implementing community-led placemaking initiatives, developing leadership capacity within the community and overseeing the maintenance of communal and community spaces.
This position requires strong relationship building skills, experience working in remote First Nations communities and an understanding of placemaking principles.
Key responsibilities include:
* Community-led placemaking and respect for local cultural knowledge and life
* Community Capacity Building & Mentorship
* Place keeping
* Fleet Management (shared responsibility with Operations team)
* Relationship Management
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a collaborative approach and experience managing diverse teams.
