This senior finance role is a key position within our organization, reporting directly to the Group Finance Director with visibility and exposure at the Board level.


Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Performance Reporting Director to manage and direct all aspects of financial planning and budgeting.

* Develop and maintain financial models to forecast future financial performance.
* Manage the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting process, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and operational goals.
* Develop rolling forecasts to provide updated financial projections.

The successful candidate will have a strong analytical and problem-solving ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.


Key Responsibilities

The following are some of the key responsibilities of this role:

* Financial Planning and Forecasting: Develop and maintain financial models to forecast future financial performance, manage the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting process, and develop rolling forecasts.
* Financial Analysis: Conduct detailed variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, analyse financial results, and provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
* Reporting and Dashboards: Prepare and present regular financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, develop and maintain dashboards to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting in compliance with relevant standards.
* Business Partnering: Collaborate with department heads and senior management to understand their financial needs, act as a trusted advisor, help business units and senior management make informed financial decisions, and participate in cross-functional projects.
* Investor Relations: Manage the Year-End and Half-Year investor reporting process, including investor presentation compilation, broker consensus analysis and summarisation, and collaboration with the Investor Relations Manager to provide complete external stakeholder information.
* Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the Performance Reporting function, leverage financial software and tools to streamline reporting and analysis processes, stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends in financial planning and analysis.
* Strategic Support: Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic planning and decision-making, support Business Development activities through accounting and due diligence support, and provide guidance to the CFO and business management to enable decision-making support.


Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

* A minimum of 10 years' experience in accounting.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
* Preferably One Stream and D365 system knowledge.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Able to think strategically and contribute to long-term financial planning and business strategy development.
* Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and business environment.
* Problem solving and attention to detail.
* Able to communicate effectively & professionally both verbally and in writing.
* Good multitasking skills and able to prioritize and meet deadlines.
* Able to effectively build working relationships with other areas of the business and enjoy working in a team.
* Strong business partnering skills and ability to communicate complex financial information clearly.
