We are seeking a talented
Store Design Draftsperson
to join Brandbank. In this role, you will bring design concepts to life by creating accurate, detailed technical drawings that support our engineering, architectural, and store fit-out projects.
You will collaborate closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure designs are delivered to the highest standard, on time, and in line with project requirements.
THE ROLE:
* Translate initial concepts and sketches into detailed drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and 3D models.
* Ensure all drawings meet industry standards, company guidelines, and project requirements.
* Produce precise technical drawings using AutoCAD and Revit. Experience with SketchUp for 3D concept development is a plus.
* Stay up to date with software versions, features, and best practices.
* Attend project meetings, provide technical input, and work with stakeholders to revise drafts to meet project goals.
* Maintain organised filing systems, track revisions, and prepare comprehensive documentation for all drafts.
* Review drawings for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with specifications, standards, and building codes.
* Implement changes based on feedback, maintain version control, and document all modifications.
* Provide drafting guidance and support to project teams and clients, assisting with technical queries and troubleshooting as needed.
* On-site role 5-days per week, based in our St Kilda Road offices.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
* A tertiary qualification or equivalent in Drafting, Architecture, Interior Design, or related field. Bachelor's degree preferred.
* Minimum 5 years in drafting or a related role with a proven track record of producing accurate technical drawings.
* Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit (preferred).
* Strong understanding of technical drawing standards and best practices.
* Excellent attention to detail and precision.
* Ability to interpret technical documents and specifications.
* Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
