* Carry out general building and property maintenance, including a wide range of handyman tasks, as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor, to ensure School facilities are maintained to a high standard.
* Assist contractors and service providers on site and provide support to other trades personnel—including builders, plumbers, and electricians—when required.
* Follow all Safe Work Method Statements and maintain strong housekeeping practices to ensure a safe and compliant working environment.
* Support day‑to‑day operational needs across the school, such as office relocations, event and function setup, and furniture movement.
* Tasks may include hanging doors, installing playground equipment, completing general handyman duties, and carrying out a range of basic carpentry work.
* Working collaboratively and as part of a team, maintaining all parts of campus
What you'll need to succeed
* Trade qualification mandatory – Carpentry
* Demonstrated experience in building and fixture maintenance, with some exposure to construction work
* Safeguarding children online training certificate
* Manual drivers licence; an LR licence or higher is desirable
* Successful applicant will need to complete ‘Working with children check and criminal records check’

What you'll get in return
If successful, you will join the team in a permanent, full‑time Maintenance Officer position, working 38 hours per week with shifts from 6:30am–3:00pm on Mondays and 7:00am–3:00pm Tuesday to Friday.
