Our client has a new opportunity for a Legal Business Support Manager reporting to the General Counsel and Chief Commercial Officer. The role will establish and maintain the business processes for a busy new legal team and support the General Counsel in special projects. Managing the legal processes, you will be responsible for reporting and fostering collaboration across internal teams to ensure a consistent approach is adopted. On a day to day basis, you will manage the lifecycle of legal requests to allocation to appropriate IR lawyer, engagement of external legal firms, approval of invoices, and liaise with finance to ensure payment and closing matters. You will act as centralised point for management of legal matters to ensure timely delivery of legal services and manage and facilitate ongoing centralised documentation and records.
The role will also provide administrative assistance, including preparing reports, managing key registers, submissions, spreadsheets, flowcharts, calendars and tracking tools. You will also manage diary coordination, travel and enquiries. You will prepare Powerpoint presentations and handle other matters as delegated by the Company Secretary. Executive administrative functions will also include travel booking and expense management, preparation of presentations, special projects and assistance in training initiatives.
