Job Overview:
The role of Land Development Engineer involves timely response to planning applications for development and subdivision, provision of infrastructure to facilitate it to standards that meet industry requirements, and delivery of technical advice and guidance to developers and consultants.
* Respond to enquiries by customers and the development community, providing advice on specific development issues.
* Maintain relationships with the development community and other stakeholders, fostering collaboration and cooperation.
* Review Planning Applications against relevant legislation, technical standards, and policies, providing recommendations to relevant authorities.
* Degree level qualification in Civil Engineering or considerable knowledge and skills gained through trade qualifications in plumbing with 7+ years experience.
* Technical knowledge of water, wastewater, and recycled water infrastructure is essential.
* Ability to interpret technical drawings and standards, making decisions based on defined guidelines and principles.
* Computer literacy with well-developed skills in word processing, databases, and geographic Information Systems.
