Project Officer – City Projects
Salary: $126,859 per annum plus super

We're seeking a proactive Project Officer to support the delivery of our Strategic Projects and Infrastructure Capital Works program. Working closely with the Project Manager and City Projects team, you'll help take infrastructure projects from concept through to completion—ensuring quality outcomes, strong stakeholder relationships, and best-practice project management every step of the way.
What you'll be doing
* Support and lead assigned infrastructure and capital works projects from planning to delivery
* Coordinate project administration, reporting, budgets, contracts and procurement
* Liaise with internal teams, consultants, contractors, government agencies and community stakeholders
* Contribute to feasibility studies, funding applications and future capital planning
* Assist with tender processes, contract administration and project working groups
* Ensure projects align with Council policies, budgets, timelines and safety standards
What you'll bring
* Current C Class License
* National Police Clearance (within 6 months)
* Experience in infrastructure or capital works project delivery
* Strong project management, budgeting and financial monitoring skills
* Well-developed communication, stakeholder engagement and negotiation abilities
* Knowledge of procurement, contract administration and Australian Standards
* Ability to manage competing priorities and work both independently and as part of a team
* Tertiary qualification in Project Management (or equivalent practical experience)
