One full time vacancy, either ongoing or fixed for 2 years is available
Responsibilities
* In this role you will manage a nursing team providing evidence-based primary health care services to clients held in custody at the Women's Correctional Centre and Reintegration Facility within the Alice Springs Correctional Centre.
* You will have extensive experience, skills and knowledge in contemporary custodial primary health care, including relevant legislation, along with demonstrated advanced leadership and clinical skills.
To be successful, you will
* Have current registration with Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia or eligible for the same.
* Demonstrate advanced clinical knowledge and management skills, to support well-developed decision-making to enable delivery of high-quality clinical services.
* Have well-developed knowledge and understanding of the social and cultural issues, influences and sensitivities that influence health care provision for clients and families.
* Demonstrate experience in operational planning, as well as proficient management of human, material, and financial resources to support operational effectiveness and attainment of organisational objectives.
