Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Project Management: Execute project management processes across multiple projects, even when coordinators or vendor managers are involved. Key deliverables include project plans and schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
* Project Planning & Execution: Develop and execute project plans.
* Scope Management: Plan, define, control, and verify project scope.
* Cost Management: Forecast, report, control, estimate, and budget costs.
* Time Management: Develop and control schedules.
* Quality Management: Plan, control, and assure quality.
* Risk/Issue Management: Identify, monitor, respond to, and plan for risks/issues.
* Procurement: Plan purchases, manage procurement, and administer contracts.
* Communication: Manage documents, plan communications, distribute information, and report performance.
* Leadership will Foster Team Commitment and deliver agreed outcomes.
Candidate Requirements
A degree in construction management or related discipline is required.
A qualification in one of the following is also desirable: property, building and construction, project management, engineering, architecture presentation skills and ability to take people on the change journey.
Experience in project scheduling software (Microsoft Project / Primavera) and experience in project finance management software (SAP) is essential.
Demonstrated industry experience of 8+ years is mandatory.
Demonstrated proficiency in identifying and managing avoidable project risks including reputational risk triggers, resolve issues in a proactive and timely manner, and monitoring and reporting progress.
NEC4 contract management and administration is also highly desirable.
Ability to influence and manage difficult stakeholders is crucial.
Experience in fitout of laboratory environment is an advantage.
