**Quick overview of the role**
We are seeking a full-time Operator to join the Currumbin branch. We have several day & afternoon shift vacancies across our Production Department. You will operate all machinery as required in the relevant department and ensure that all loads are quality inspected and tagged prior to loading. As an Operator, you must be reliable, responsible, and dependable and be a forward thinker who can multitask to achieve the best possible outcomes.
**What will you be doing?**
- Conducting pre-start checks on all equipment and machinery before it is used
- Reporting any faults to your Manager/Supervisor immediately
- Operating all machines and using any relevant equipment in a secure manner as stated in the TAP
- Unloading the racks of all machines and loading accordingly to the live load list
- Checking the tag(s) provided on the bundle(s) before loading and ensure that it is correct
- Ensuring all tags are scanned after the bundle(s), pallet(s) and bin(s) are loaded
- Reading and understanding the delivery preparation & load large/ longest bundles first
- Using the concept of pyramid loading on all loads
- Ensuring the load and count out racks are always kept tidy
- Ensure dunnage is kept even with each layer of steel
- Production and/factory experience preferred
- Forklift license and crane experience essential
- Physically able to lift products and work standing up
- Be a good communicator and team player
- Have a good sense of humour
- Be proactive, organised and hardworking
