About the role
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pharmacist to join our team at Capital Chemist Crace in Crace, ACT 2911. As a Full Time or Part Time Pharmacist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional pharmaceutical care to our customers. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a dedicated and supportive team in a well-established community pharmacy.
What you'll be doing
1. Providing professional pharmaceutical advice and services to customers
2. Accurately dispensing prescriptions and over-the-counter medications
3. Training will be provided on the DISPENSEWORK dispensing system
4. Ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and pharmacy policies
5. Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated patient care
6. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records and documentation
7. Participating in quality improvement initiatives and continuous professional development
What we're looking for
1. Registered Pharmacist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
2. Minimum 6-12 months of pharmacy experience required, with new graduates welcome to apply
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients and colleagues
4. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
5. Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and safety
6. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
7. Availability to work one weekend day and communicate with a wide range of diverse colleagues and clients
8. Continuous learning mindset and a passion for providing high-quality patient care
