Based in the outer eastern suburbs of Victoria, our company is engaged in a global engine remanufacturing program for a major car manufacturer. With increased demand for our product and a growth rate that is far outpacing the industry average, now is an exciting time to join our business.

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, self‐motivated and organised team member to the role of Factory Hand/Trades Assistant. We believe that our success is due to the professionalism and commitment of our staff, quality of our product and a high standard of detail within our processes.

Duties

• Prepare and clean engine shipping cases ensuring high presentation standards.
• Hydro blast engine components.
• Cleaning of all engine parts – ultrasonic, hot tank and wash tanks.
• Buffing of cylinder head components.
• Assistance in the dismantle of engines and cylinder heads.
• General duties when requested.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Interest in learning new skills and complementing existing skills.
• Ability to work to meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Appreciation of quality workmanship.
• Reliable – self‐motivated attitude.
• Experience with engines or mechanical components would be helpful but is not a necessary requirement.
