**Your responsibilities will include**:
- Reporting to the Logistics Manager, this challenging and exciting role will see you develop effective supply support capabilities through leading and managing a team of Logistic professionals to ensure business obligations and customer requirements are met. You will be responsible for spares management, support for quotations, tracking of deep level maintenance repairs, calibration and management of Test Equipment and Tooling.
- As an integral part of the Logistics Team, your responsibilities will include:
- Deliver Logistics Supply Support to the MH60R Platform.
- Lead and manage diverse teams to ensure contract deliverables are achieved
- Ensure continuous improvement of logistics processes and procedures.
- Manage and mentor Logistics Supply Support staff in the execution of their duties.
- Prepare briefing material and present briefings to management and internal/external customers.
- Lead the creation of an effective organisational culture which recognises and values both individual and team contributions to organisational effectiveness.
- Establish and foster a strong working relationship with key stakeholders
- Ensure Logistics Supply Support activities are carried out in accordance with Defence Policy and Procedures.
**About you**:
- We value our teams and the diverse and unique experience and skills they offer. We are seeking an experienced Supply Support Manager with a good mix of technical competency and personal capability.
- To see you succeed in this role you will have:
- Ability to gain Department of Defence security clearance NV1 level.
- Extensive management experience preferably within a Defence environment
- Strong leadership and relationship building skills with the ability to mentor and manage through influence and form creative partnerships to achieve business objectives
- Extensive experience in Defence, or similar industry, logistics including inventory control, asset management, supply chain and procurement.
- Strong experience managing defence equipment using MILIS and other CoA management tools.
- Significant ability to adapt and maintain a flexible approach to changing needs and priorities.
- Outstanding knowledge of Defence Logistics governance Policies and procedures.

Desirable:
- Qualifications in Logistics, Repairable Item Management, Supply Chain Management, Procurement or Asset Management.
- Experience within an aviation support environment.
- Knowledge of Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program
- Logistics Analysis and Inventory Management experience.
- Understanding of MILIS Item Management and SAP proficient
**Special Requirements**:
- Applicants are required to be able to obtain and maintain Australian Defence Force security clearance.
