**About the role**
We are seeking for an **Accounts Assistant** to work within a team.
**Job tasks and responsibilities**
- Assist with day-to-day bookkeeping and ensure financial records are accurate
- Help prepare and process invoices and payments.
- Reconcile accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
- Support the finance team with month-end closing tasks.
- Lend a hand with various admin tasks as directed by our finance team.
- Invoicing
- Debtor Chasing
- Assist with other projects as needed and backup other accounting tasks in absence
- Timesheet and room count reconciliation
**Requirements**:
- Advance knowledge of Microsoft Word and excel
- Ability to learn financial system quickly
- Preferred experience in XERO but not essential
- Efficiency and attention to detail, even when working within strict time frames
- Confidence in work prioritisation and managing your own workload while still being a committed team player
- Adaptability, professionalism and high level of confidentiality
- Highly developed interpersonal kills with excellent understanding of English Language
- Excellent time management skills with customer service focus and sense of urgency

**About you**:
- Experience in finance or accounting within the hospitality sector is a plus but not essential.
- Accounting background is preferred but not essential
- Availability to work from Monday to Thursday
- Must have Full Work Rights

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
