Our client is a well-established manufacturer of construction chemicals used for bonding, sealing, damping, reinforcing and protecting.
We are seeking a Laboratory Technician or Chemist to join their team in the manufacturing department at their Wetherill Park site.
Day Shift Rate : $***** p / h
Hours of Work : 6am-2pm between Monday to Friday
Key Responsibilities
Collecting and testing samples from production line
Checking that all finished goods are within specified limits
Perform Viscosity, PH, spread-ability, colour and adhesive testing.
Check all required tests have been conducted and information noted
Report any issues to production
Create laboratory products as directed by the chemists
File retained samples
Essential Criteria
Tertiary degree diploma or certificate in science or chemistry
QC lab or production testing experience
Interest in working with chemicals, concrete, paint or adhesives
Good written and spoken communication skills
Sound MS Excel skills
Must be physically fit and capable of lifting up to 20kg
Driver licence (Red PS or above)
Full working rights in Australia
