In this role, you'll:
Be responsible for the day to day operation of a station under the control of the Area Customer Service Manager or Station Manager, Intercity, the efficient and effective management of the station, staff and facilities, delivery of customer service, on time running, and safety of customers. This position encourages teamwork, staff development and promotes the station's business. You will also deal with challenging situations that require you to to be analytical and make critical decisions under pressure whist working alongside a variety of stakeholders when there are train delays and/or incidents.

About you
You have previous experience as a collaborative solution focused individual who is confident managing a dynamic team in a high-pressure operational environment.
You have a willingness to teach, inspire and motivate the team you lead whilst being a customer service advocate with a passion for delivering exceptional service to our passengers.
You are resilient, approachable, and analytical; with the ability to think on your feet and can make safety focused decisions independently as well as part of a team of stakeholders you will be working alongside
.
As a Duty Manager at either of these locations, you may be expected to complete manual laboruing tasks in your day to day.
