Compliance Advisor, Program Support page is loaded## Compliance Advisor, Program Supportlocations: Sydney Office - George Street: Brisbane Office - Newstead Villagetime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Yesterdayjob requisition id: JR101276**Compliance Advisor, Program Support****About the role**This is a 12‐month fixed term contract.The Compliance Advisor, Program Support plays a critical role in supporting Line 2 Compliance's independent review, advice and challenge of key transformation initiatives across BOQ. The role focuses on identifying and addressing compliance and conduct risks arising from customer migrations, product and platform transformations, and related risk events, ensuring risks are appropriately managed and aligned with the Group's strategic objectives to simplify, digitise, and be the bank customers choose.Working closely with the Senior Partner, Program Support in the Line 2 Compliance Advisory team, the Compliance Advisor will coordinate with stakeholders across the Group to provide timely advice, insights and reporting on compliance and conduct risks. The role supports activities under BOQ's Compliance Risk Management Framework and contributes compliance insights about risk events, issues, controls and obligations. You will provide robust, pragmatic compliance advice to transformation initiatives, balancing regulatory requirements, customer outcomes and business needs.The role also works collaboratively with wider Line 2 Compliance teams and Line 1 Risk functions to provide effective compliance oversight of major change initiatives. This includes building strong, transparent relationships across business and project teams, reviewing compliance cases and risk events, and proactively identifying emerging compliance risks. Through this work, the Compliance Advisor, Program Support helps strengthen compliance capability, drive a strong compliance culture, and support the successful delivery of the Group's transformation agenda.**About you**You bring at least five years' experience in a Line 1 Risk or Line 2 Compliance role within banking or financial services, with a strong focus on compliance and conduct risk. Your background includes solid knowledge of financial services legislation and regulation (including the Banking Code of Practice, Corporations Act, and National Credit Code) and hands‐on experience working within operational and compliance risk management frameworks. Experience supporting transformation projects or change initiatives is highly regarded, along with proficiency using GRC platforms. Legal qualifications are also desirable.You are a strong communicator with the ability to interpret and convey complex regulatory information clearly and pragmatically to a diverse range of stakeholders. Known for your sound judgement, problem‐solving capability and attention to detail, you balance risk and compliance requirements with commercial realities to achieve positive outcomes.
