About the Role
As our Human Resources Manager, you will lead the people and culture function across HelpAlong, covering the full employee lifecycle from recruitment and onboarding through to performance, compliance and recognition.
Based at our Strathpine office, you will work closely with leaders across the business to deliver a people strategy that supports our teams and our mission. You will also lead and work closely with the HR Administrator, who holds responsibility for day-to-day recruitment activity, with you providing oversight and direction across the end-to-end recruitment function. Reporting to the General Manager, this role is hands‐on, collaborative and central to how we attract, develop and retain our people.
Key Responsibilities
* Partner with managers on performance management and employee relations,
* Ensure compliance with applicable legislation, awards and industrial relations requirements, including the SCHADS Award,
* Develop and maintain HR policies aligned to the organisation's direction,
* Support WHS, Workers Compensation, training and compliance requirements across the business,
* Undertake monthly HR data reporting and analysis for the executive team,
* Manage and support the HR Administrator and HR Interns, providing direction across their day‐to‐day work,
* Oversee the end‐to‐end recruitment function, ensuring consistent and compliant hiring practices,
* Build and develop the HR team to deliver on operational and strategic priorities,
* Own the cultural recognition framework and contribute to internal communications that reflect our values.
About You
* Tertiary qualifications in Human Resource Management, Business or equivalent,
* Proven experience in a generalist HR role with exposure to senior leadership,
* Strong understanding of the SCHADS Award and employment legislation,
* Ability to build relationships and partner with managers at all levels,
* Organised, self‐directed and able to manage competing priorities,
* A genuine interest in working within disability or community services.
