We're passionate about building products that have a real impact on patient health outcomes and delivering services that support the growth and sustainability of Australian healthcare.The Product Marketer plays a key role in developing and executing GTM marketing initiatives that drive the adoption, utilisation, and long-term success of HotDoc’s SaaS products. This role ensures that product launches and ongoing marketing efforts are executed collaboratively and timely, focussed on delivering measurable impact across customer engagement, retention, and revenue growth.As HotDoc’s Product Marketer, you’ll be working cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Customer Success, and Operations to ensure smooth product rollouts, impactful positioning and messaging, persona development, and communication back on results and opportunities.Unique value of the roleThe Product Marketer plays a critical executional role in bringing HotDoc’s products to market and ensuring they are well adopted and effectively utilised by customers. By leveraging customer insights, competitive research, and cross-functional input, this role creates compelling messaging, launch strategies, and engagement plans that drive product success.Reporting to the Marketing Lead, the Product Marketer is responsible for managing go-to-market activities, crafting positioning and value propositions, and executing lifecycle campaigns that support customer retention and growth.Through close collaboration with teams across Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Engineering, the Product Marketer ensures that each customer touchpoint—such as onboarding flows, in-product messaging, sales enablement materials, and lifecycle communications—is clear, consistent, and contributes to key business metrics.Key AccountabilitiesPositioning & Messaging: Develop and refine compelling value propositions, positioning and messaging frameworks for HotDoc’s products and features targeting different segments across various channels.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to translate technical features into customer benefits and ensure seamless product rollouts and adoption strategies.Customer Insights & Market Intelligence: Track industry trends, customer feedback, and competitor activity to help optimise GTM strategies and persona development.Go-To-Market Campaigns & Execution: Develop and execute end-to-end GTM campaigns for new feature releases and product updates, including content assets to drive awareness, adoption and utilisation.Sales & CS Enablement: Work closely with Sales & Customer Success to provide input for their collateral, ensuring consistent brand voice and tone across all customer-facing touch-points.Marketing Channel Management: Oversee marketing channels, including EDMs, in-product messaging, events (live and virtual), and the HotDoc website.Performance Tracking & Optimisation: Define, measure, and report on GTM KPIs and milestones before, during, and after launch to identify opportunities for improvement.What You Must Have To Apply For This RoleA degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Business, or a related discipline, or demonstrated equivalent professional experience in a comparable roleProven experience in product marketing, GTM strategy, or growth marketing within a SaaS or technology-driven business, including experimentation techniques (A/B testing).Experience using CRMs such as Hubspot, Intercom and Wordpress (or similar website tooling).Experience in SaaS, primarily specialising B2B activities.Strong understanding of marketing elements, including traditional and digital marketing (SEO, social media, paid channels, etc.)Expertise in market research, customer segmentation, and data analytics to inform marketing strategies and product-led growth approaches.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.Strong problem-solving mindset and adaptability, with the persistence to navigate ambiguity and drive outcomes.You’re just the person we’re looking for if you can demonstrate thatA socially conscious mindset with a desire to contribute to positive change in the Australian healthcare patient experience.Strong sense of empathy and a commitment to doing the right thing by others.Proactive approach to problem-solving, with a willingness to take ownership and see solutions through to completion.Confidence to challenge the status quo and advocate for thoughtful, constructive change.Genuine passion for technology, particularly in health IT and SaaS, with an interest in leveraging it for meaningful impact.What do our employees love about working for HotDoc?Our people are at the heart of HotDoc.
