Sr. Executive Recruiter/Manager of Research and Technology at Storm Search
Job Summary:
Oversee process engineering support for the facility, focusing on optimization, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement. Lead projects to enhance quality, productivity, and ensure compliance with all safety and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, training, and transportation regulations while overseeing daily operations.
* Manage plant operations, including SAP transactions, audits, maintenance coordination, capital projects, process improvements, and workforce scheduling.
* Optimize production processes by analyzing workflow, monitoring equipment performance, and implementing cost-saving initiatives.
* Identify and drive improvements in production rates, yield, and quality using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
* Develop and mentor employees through coaching, training, and performance feedback to build a strong and capable team.
* Ensure consistent product quality and timely resolution of customer concerns to maintain high customer satisfaction.
* Establish and enforce safety and environmental goals, ensuring all operations align with local, state, and federal regulations.
* Contribute to long-term plant initiatives, including strategic planning and the implementation of Lean Manufacturing principles.
* Develop and execute plans to enhance production capacity and improve product quality to support business growth.
* Manage department budgets, track performance metrics, and identify opportunities to reduce production and supply chain costs.
* Collaborate with business teams to align plant operations with overall company objectives.
* Support the implementation and maintenance of ISO 9001 and other relevant management systems.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Chemical Engineering.
* 5+ years of experience in operations or engineering within a manufacturing environment.
* 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.
* Strong technical aptitude with the ability to manage multiple projects.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
