What you’ll do
As a Credit Ratings Analyst, you will research, perform credit risk analysis, provide detailed commentary, share insights, and draw conclusions in the form of a comprehensive credit report. Responsibilities include financial statement, economic, and industry analysis, benchmarking, and modeling. The Credit Rating Analyst must also adhere to Divisional policies and procedures and maintain a professional image when interacting with clients and the broader market.
What experience you need
* Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Commerce
* Qualification in CA/CPA/CFA is highly regarded
* Minimum of 1 year experience in accounting/finance, with local experience essential; experience in direct client communication is required
* Ability to interpret financial statements and identify key risks and drivers of companies and industries
* Ability to think holistically beyond ratios
* Compliance with all applicable policies, principles, and organizational requirements
