The Role
This is a Bunbury-based position, working primarily on local and regional projects within the South West, Metro and surrounding areas. You will be home most nights, with no FIFO rosters required. Occasional short-term regional travel may be required depending on project needs.
As a key member of our high-performing team, you will work closely with internal stakeholders and client project teams to deliver precise and reliable surveying services. Your technical expertise, attention to detail, and professional communication will directly contribute to project success, safety, and quality outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
* Build strong working relationships by liaising effectively with client project teams and maintaining clear, proactive communication
* Deliver accurate construction set-out and as-constructed surveys
* Undertake topographic surveys for as-built reporting and volume calculations
* Utilise modern technologies including drone and laser scanning to capture comprehensive site data
* Maintain accurate project documentation, including end-of-month reporting and quantity calculations
What We're Looking For
* Demonstrated experience on construction and/or mining projects in Australia
* Diploma in Surveying or equivalent
* Experience with Trimble Business Centre and AutoCAD preferred (but not essential)
* Familiarity with Trimble Access, Trimble survey equipment, Riegl scanners, and quadcopter drones is highly regarded
* Willingness to learn additional software such as ArcGIS Pro, RiScan, Pix4D, and RealWorks
* A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
* Strong, professional communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with clients and colleagues
