**About the Role**
We are seeking compassionate and experienced professionals to work in a Supported Independent Living (SIL) environment, providing person-centered care that promotes stability, independence, and overall well-being.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide structured support to individuals with mental health conditions.
- Support participants in managing daily routines, emotional regulation, and community participation.
- Assist with personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks as required.
- Implement mental health support plans and follow Positive Behaviour Support strategies (PBS).
- Help manage triggers, support mood regulation, and encourage healthy coping mechanisms.
- Facilitate social and community engagement in safe, meaningful activities.
- Accurately document progress notes, incident reports, and daily records in a timely manner.
**Required Skills and Qualifications:**
- Certificate III in Individual Support or a related field is preferred but not essential.
- Experience supporting individuals with mental health conditions is highly regarded.
- Strong understanding of mental health recovery frameworks and the ability to implement Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) strategies.
- Ability to provide emotional support, assist with medication prompts, and help manage mood fluctuations.
- Experience in de-escalation techniques and responding to mental health crises.
