We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Speech Pathologist to join our dynamic Allied Health team in Mildura. This role will be responsible for providing high-quality services across both acute and sub-acute settings, with a focus on outpatient services and, where necessary, inpatient services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide comprehensive speech pathology assessments and interventions for outpatient and inpatient clients.
* Assist in the supervision and direction of Grade 1 Speech Pathologists, students, and allied health assistants.
* Contribute to service development and delivery in line with organisational goals.
* Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, liaising with staff and community agencies to ensure continuity of care.
* Lead clinical roles for designated case types, ensuring evidence-based practices and quality patient care.
* Participate in clinical and non-clinical duties, including service planning, communication, and professional development.
Requirements:
* A Bachelor of Speech Pathology or equivalent qualification.
* Evidence of eligibility for membership with Speech Pathology Australia (SPA).
* Proven experience and clinical competence as a Grade 2 Speech Pathologist.
* Flexibility and adaptability in both autonomous and team-based environments.
* Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* Initiative and creativity in the provision of speech pathology services.
