Senior Civil EngineerI am currently working with a Brisbane based design consultancy with a reputation for providing end to end civil design services and construction support related to water and wastewater networks, pipelines, and treatment facilities. They are currently looking for an experienced Senior Civil Engineer with experience in the waste/wastewater industry to join the team on a full-time basis. ResponsibilitiesDevelopment of civil design deliverables & documentation for water and wastewater infrastructure including:Engineering calculations Hydraulic/ surge modelling Detailed design drawings Technical specifications & reports Scopes of work Coordinating design outputs with drafting servicesEffective Project Management of water projects throughout the lifecycle including:Liaising with clients and other stakeholders. Organising design inputs from various sub-contractors. Preparation and management of design schedule & cost control for design packages. Contributing to tender submissions. Conducting site inspections, audits and works supervision.Experience5+ years' experience in civil engineering with proven ability to lead and manage projects independently. Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. Construction Induction (White Card). Water and Sewerage engineering experience in pump station design, pipeline design, hydraulics/modelling, design management, planning and feasibility studies. Knowledge of relevant local design codes & standards (SEQCode, WSAA, Australia Standards). Experience in AutoCAD, Civils3D, 12D and Navisworks desirable. Experience in Hydraulic modelling - Water and Sewage reticulation, bulk-water / Surge. About youEffective written and verbal communication skills.
