Your new role
Reporting to the Director, you will be responsible for the following:
Oversee end‑to‑end financial reporting activities, including preparing periodic statements, maintaining accurate ledgers, supporting audits, and completing all required documentation.
Manage month‑end deliverables by processing journals and accruals, performing reconciliations, and reviewing results to highlight variances or unusual trends.
Ensure compliance with legislative, tax, and regulatory requirements while upholding strong internal controls, governance practices, and risk management processes.
Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, treasury, and operational accounting tasks while driving process improvements, supporting system enhancements, and maintaining up‑to‑date financial procedures.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will meet the following requirements:
Holds tertiary qualifications in accounting or finance, is CPA/CA qualified or progressing toward completion, and brings solid experience in financial accounting with strong knowledge of standards, legislation, and modern ERP systems.
Demonstrates exceptional accuracy, analytical thinking, and problem‑solving capability, supported by advanced Excel skills and the ability to manage competing deadlines effectively.
Communicates clearly, builds productive working relationships, and works confidently both independently and within a team while maintaining high levels of professionalism and confidentiality.
Delivers reliable month‑end outcomes, maintains high‑quality reconciliations, meets all compliance timelines, and proactively contributes to improving financial processes and controls.
